Description
Artwork of the dinosaur Hypacrosaurus. Meaning 'near the highest lizard', Hypacrosaurus belonged to the very successful group of herbivorous dinosaurs, flourishing during the Late Cretaceous Period, called hadrosaurs ('duck-billed' dinosaurs). Relatives include Edmontosaurus and Parasaurolophus. It grew to an adult length of 9 m (30 ft).
